Terms of service
Last updated October 18, 2026
These terms cover your use of Vellum (vellumprep.com), an online learning platform run by Petros Palandjian (“Vellum,” “we”). By creating an account or buying access you agree to them. If you are under 18, a parent, guardian or your school must agree to them on your behalf.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give us an email address you can receive mail at.
- Access through a school (for example, by signing in with a school email address) lasts as long as the school’s arrangement with Vellum and your enrollment there.
Plans and billing
Courses are sold individually, each as either a monthly plan or a one-year pass. Prices are shown on the plans page before you pay, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Monthly plans renew automatically each month on the date you subscribed, charging the card on file, until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage billing on the plans page; you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- One-year passes are a single payment for 365 days of access to that course. They do not renew and you will not be charged again.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it for a short time. If it still fails, the plan ends and so does access to that course.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell monthly subscribers before a new price applies to them, and you can cancel before it does.
Refunds
If Vellum isn’t what you expected, email petros@vellumprep.com within 14 days of a purchase or renewal and we will refund it. After that, payments are not refundable except where the law requires, but you can always cancel a monthly plan so it does not renew. A refunded purchase ends access to that course.
Using Vellum
Vellum is for your own learning. Please do not:
- share your account or resell access;
- copy, download in bulk, or republish course content, questions or answers;
- try to get around the paywall or access checks, or disrupt the service;
- use automated tools to scrape Vellum.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. If we do so without a good reason related to these terms, we will refund any unused time you paid for.
Content
The courses, questions, explanations, models and software on Vellum belong to Vellum or its contributors, or are used under license. Some materials (for example, certain 3D anatomy models) are licensed from third parties under their own terms, which we credit where they appear. Your notes and answers remain yours; you let us store and process them to run the service for you.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Vellum accurate and available, but it is provided “as is.” We don’t promise any particular exam score or grade, that the content is free of errors, or that the service will never be interrupted. Vellum is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board; “AP” is its trademark.
To the extent the law allows, Vellum’s total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will notify account holders of significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts. Questions: petros@vellumprep.com.
